Positively Izzy Book Tour!

Ohioana Festival
So excited to be part of this year’s acclaimed Ohioana Book Festival on April 14 in Columbus, OH. Click here for detailed info and here for festival authors.
Besides signing copies of Invisible Emmie and Pajama Diaries books, I’ll also be part of a panel for tween/teen readers:
1:00 pm – 1:45 pm: Learn from an expert panel of illustrators as they discuss all things connected to creating pictures for books – Joe Sutphin, Mark and Mary Willenbrink, Christina Wald, Terri Libenson (graphic artist)
Hope to see you there!
News and Events!
Gearing up for a very busy spring. Pretty soon I’ll be going on tour for my new book, Positively Izzy, which debuts May 1. I will post that schedule as soon as it’s locked in. For now, I hope you’ll pre-order a copy!
In the meantime, I look forward to presenting Invisible Emmie at Elyria Public Library on Monday, April 9, at 6:30 pm. Click here for registration. Hope to see you!
Keystone-Lagrange Branch Library: 101 West Street, LaGrange, Ohio 44050
In other EMMIE news, this is pretty great. Listed among Barnes & Noble’s recent Top Graphic Novels!
March For Our Lives – EMMIE Poster
As a parent, citizen, and children’s book author, I support the March For Our Lives event that will take place on March 24, 2018. Just for the event, I created some EMMIE posters that anyone can download for free. I made two different designs, either 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17. Click on the links below to download.
I also created a generic poster (no KidLit mention):
Also, please consider donating to March For Our Lives or Moms Demand Action.
Emmie around the world
So here’s something cool: Invisible Emmie has been picked up (so far) by 14 different publishers around the globe. The UK edition came out at the same time as the North American edition (and looks similar). Here are 3 more that are on their way next! The German, French (look at that unique design, which I love) and Spanish covers are shown above. It’s interesting the way each publisher anticipates how its young readers will be drawn in (The German publisher was very adamant about having a teal cover). My only hope is that readers all over the world will ultimately enjoy Emmie.
